Have you ever noticed that when the politicians actually do start doing budget cuts that everyone gets up in a roar$%: In fact the more they cut the more complaints and sob stories we read in the newspapers. Well one has to wonder that if these huge budget cuts are causing such a stir then people are talking about the realities of the money spent and therefore we can talk about both the justification and the waste in our government.
One by one let us start cutting the government fat and put these folks on a diet shall we. And the more they yell about it and cause a fuss the more we know that the budget cuts are working. Let them piss and moan and cause a storm. Let them tell us how much we need all these fine services and how all these fine folks in government are helping us these days. One just has to laugh at all the justification of government expenditures.
Sometimes it seems that all these folks spending our tax dollars actually believe what they are saying, yet the truth is most government agencies waste 45% of the money for any particular project in the administration costs. You know if you or I wasted 45% in our businesses on administration costs then we would be out of business.
Of course since the government does not understand this, they make us fill out forms all day long and think that somehow if we run our businesses like government everything will be fine$%: You know if the government would stop creating all this paperwork then we would not have to cut down so many trees and Global Warming would not be an issue. I hope this article propels thought into 2007.
